Reading through this scene is became quite clear most of the girls had left home to work in the Kit Kat club or some had ended up there. There's no escape and they cant go home 'Mama thinks I'm on tour of Europe'. Some may not be able to go home because they are too embarrassed about what they have done. I think this song is meant to be fun but with a darker truth behind it.
'Pure as mountain snow' this is my favourite line is both ironic and also full of sarcasm. This is because they work in a club that's full of men and dance around with very little on.
If I had to create hair and make up using one word I would choose 'snow' this is because I would create very pale make up on the skin and I would use a white lace vale in the hair because a white vale is usually worn on your wedding night. And white is worn to show your innocence and purity.
