I started to compare contemporary and historical ideas for the Kit Kat girls characters. Looking into the hair and make up. I found most of them had quite tradition 1930s hair but the make up was extravagant and piled on the face. With very dark eye make up and lots of mascara piled on. I also found they had pale faces and dark lips. I like the idea of doing a historical look and trying out using lots of make up applied on the face. The hair tended to be short and often dark. They used curling tongs to create the look. The Kit Kat girls often put lots of make up to seem extravagant I also think because there on the stage they need the audience to see the make up to make I seem more theatrical.
