Drawing Practice
Learning how to draw lines by holding the pencil differently. This helped us to learn how to hold the pencil to get the most controlled lines. When holding the pencil further down you get a darker line but when holding the pencil at the top you get lighter lines.

Drawing some eye shapes. Experimenting with different lines around the eyes. These a rough sketches just getting the correct shape and looking into less detail rather than more.

Couple of portraits of a two middle aged couple. Looking at the different lines compared to younger people. Practicing the facial features. Rough sketches just to get the correct shape.

Self portrait. I felt I got the face shape correct with my square jaw and also I have a very long nose. Pretty happy with this drawing.

This was just me playing around using pens and charcoals. Mixing materials together. Trial and error.

Self Portrait at a different angle. I didn't like this one I felt the eyes were the wrong shape.
